Lyrics: Christmas Time Is Here

Let There Be Peace On Earth

Let There Be Peace on Earth and let it begin with me.
Let There Be Peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to be!
With God as our Father, brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now.
With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow;
To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally!
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me!

Let There Be Peace on Earth and let it begin with me.
Let There Be Peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to be!
With God as our Father, brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me. Let this be the moment now.
With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow;
To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally!
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me!

The Christmas Song

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose.
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight

They know that Santa’s on his way
He’s loaded lots of toys
And goodies on his sleigh
And every mother’s child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly

And so, I’m offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although its been said
Many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you!

They know that Santa Clause is on his way
He’s loaded lots of toys
And goodies on his sleigh
And every mother’s child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly

And so, I’m offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although its been said
Many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you!

Go Tell It On The Mountain

Go tell it on the mountain
over the hills and everywhere.
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus is born.

Go tell it on the mountain
over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus is born.

The shepherds were watching
Over their flocks by night.
When down through the heavens
There shown a holy light.
They feared and they trembled
When lo above the earth
Sang an angels chorus
They were telling of the Saviors birth.

Go tell it on the mountain
over the hills and everywhere.
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus is born.

Go tell it on the mountain
over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus is born.

Well I guess I was a seeker
I sought Him both night and day.
I asked the Lord to help me
And He showed me the way.
Down in the manger
An humble Christ was born.
God sent us salvation on that first Christmas morn.

Go tell it on the mountain
over the hills and everywhere.
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus is born.

Go tell it on the mountain
over the hills and everywhere
Go tell it on the mountain
Jesus is born.

I Remember A Christmas Long Ago

Well it’s getting late and I should be in bed
I keep staring at the snow outside instead.
It brings back memories of other Christmas Eves
When mom would show us how to sow popcorn on a string.

Family gathered in from far and near.
Can’t believe it’s been another year.
Oh but time cannot erase the memory of each smiling face,
or the surprise when sleepy eyes on Christmas morn awake.

Oh I remember a Christmas long ago.
With candy canes, toy trains and mistletoe.
All us kids have grown.
We have children of our own.
But I remember a Christmas long ago.

Presents underneath the Christmas tree.
They can make a child as happy as can be.
But the greatest gifts we find are memories we’ve left behind.
Sweet faces, though no longer here, still make us smile year after year.

Oh I remember a Christmas long ago.
With candy canes, toy trains and a star that glows.
All us kids have grown.
We have children of our own.
But I remember a Christmas long ago.

Tiny tots, with their eyes all aglow
But I remember a Christmas long ago.

The Little Drummer Boy

Come they told me
pa rum pum pum pum
A newborn King to see
pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring
pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King

pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum

So to honor Him
pa rum pum pum pum
When we come

Baby Jesus
pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too
pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring
pa rum pum pum pum
That’s fit to give a King

pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum

Shall I play for you
pa rum pum pum pum
on my drum

Mary nodded
The ox and lamb kept time
I played my drums for Him
pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for Him

pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum

Then He smiled at me
Me and my drum

Oh me and my drum.
Oh me and my drum.
I am a poor boy too.
Pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for Him
Pa rum pum pum pum
pa rum pum pum
pa rum pum pum.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas / Christmas Time Is Here

Have yourself a merry little Christmas.
Let your heart be light,
From now on our troubles
Will be out of sight.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on our troubles
Will be miles away.
Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore,
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

Through the years
We all will be together
If the Lord allow,
Hang a shining star
On the highest bough,
And have yourself
A merry little Christmas now
Christmas time is here
Happiness and cheer
Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of the year

Snowflakes in the air
Carols everywhere
Olden times and ancient rhymes
Of love and dreams to share

Sleigh bells in the air
Beauty everywhere
Yuletide by the fireside
And joyful memories there

Christmas time is here
Families drawing near
Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year

Christmas time is here
Families drawing near
Oh, that we could always see
This favorite time of year
Christmas time is here

Spend A Little More Love

You can take the kids to visit Santa Clause
and spend your weekends in the shopping malls.
Find some Christmas cards on sale,
so you can put ’em in the mail;
Trim the tree with lights and deck the halls.

Hurry, just a few more shopping days.
And we must rehearse before the Christmas play.
There are stockings left to stuff.
I wonder if we’ll have enough.
We’ve already spent too much anyway.

We should spend a little more love this Christmas.
Spend a little more time with family and friends.
Cause it won’t be a holiday,
until you go out of your way,
and spend a little more love on Christmas day.

Here’s a recipe to make the day complete.
Handed down through generations like a favorite yuletide treat.
Mix some charity and love,
with forgiveness from above
and give a little portion, to everyone you meet.

And spend a little more love this Christmas.
Spend a little more time with family and friends.
Cause it won’t be a holiday,
until you go out of your way,
and spend a little more love on Christmas day.

Cause it won’t be a holiday,
until you go out of your way,
and spend a little more love on Christmas day.

Some Children See Him

Some children see Him lily white
the infant Jesus born this night
Some children see Him lily white
with tresses soft and fair

Some children see Him bronzed and brown
the Lord of heav’n to earth come down
Some children see Him bronzed and brown
with dark and heavy hair

Some children see Him almond-eyed
This Saviour whom we kneel beside
Some children see Him almond-eyed
With skin of golden hue!

Some children see Him dark as they
Sweet Mary’s Son to whom we pray
Some children see Him dark as they
And, oh! they love Him too!

The children in each different place
Will see the Baby Jesus’ face
Like theirs but bright with heav’nly grace
And filled with holy light!

O lay aside each earthly thing
and with thy heart as offering
Come worship now the infant King
’tis love that’s born tonight!

’tis love that’s born tonight!

The Holly and The Ivy

The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown,
Of all trees that are in the wood,
The holly bears the crown:

O, the rising of the sun,
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ,
Sweet singing in the choir.

The holly bears a berry,
As red as any blood,
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ,
To do poor sinners good

O, the rising of the sun,
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ,
Sweet singing in the choir.

The holly bears a prickle,
As sharp as any thorn,
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ,
On Christmas Day in the morn.

O, the rising of the sun,
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ,
Sweet singing in the choir.

The holly bears a bark,
As bitter as the gall,
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ,
For to redeem us all.

O, the rising of the sun,
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ,
Sweet singing in the choir.

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ, the Savior is born
Christ, the Savior is born
